If anxiety is your thing, you should check out Russell Kennedy’s work. In addition to his book Anxiety Rx, he has a podcast of the same name. What I appreciate about him is that he’s a doctor and a long-time sufferer. His particular brand is health anxiety (my most tenacious and pernicious personal issue, too). The book comprises three parts: Awareness of Mind, Body, and Self, each containing thirty-six short chapters. While I found it to be about a hundred pages too long, I still view his approach to anxiety as a feeling problem versus a thinking one as essential material for the afflicted.
