When I specifically asked the VA for EMDR after reading about the benefits, they balked and said they didn’t have any clinicians trained. And then cut my meds if I wouldn’t provide the name and phone number of my AA sponsor. I’m so grateful to have survived. And thrived. I was discharged for bone on bone L4-L5 S1. And a “therapist” in Huntsville Alabama cut my Gabapentin that was prescribed by my actual doctor in Germany after she CRIED seeing my MRI… because I refused. We’re a whole operating system capable of healing. Look in the mirror, nuggets. I promise.

The VA is great for a lot of things but I doubt if they will ever be on the cutting edge of healing modalities. Just seems like they are always operating a few decades behind when it comes to pathways to care.

I cut ties with them entirely two years ago because of privacy concerns with my therapist. And the nearest clinic in New Mexico was an hour away when I didn’t have a vehicle. I don’t have Tricare or a pension, so it’s my disability check and cheap healthcare in Mexico. I’ve never been happier 💜

I’m hopeful for people like you using your platform to spread pathways to healing. There are as many paths as there are people. 🙌 Much respect

Thank you I greatly appreciate the support! And I'm glad you are finding your own way. I'm a big supporter of self-empowered healing and the individual's journey.

My mantra has become, “I can troubleshoot an Apache and complex combat situations, why tf can’t I use those skill sets on myself?” 🙂

I drove back to illesheim from that MRI to complete a test flight. Generate combat power. No matter how bad my back hurts.
