This week’s training is an intro to the breathing methods of Wim Hof, a modern pioneer in the field. Even people who know nothing about breathwork have probably heard of him and might have a rough idea of his physical feats using these techniques. Years ago, I worked with a coach who introduced me to them to help regulate my nervous system. They’ve also been helpful for me during cold water immersion therapy. There are numerous other benefits, and trying some of Hof’s practices is worth your time.
Below is a guided beginner’s drill that takes eleven minutes. If you enjoy it, consider exploring the approach and process further. There’s even an app you can download.

Have you found this can be too much for some people (overwhelms their system)... this seems to be the case for many folks with Parkinson's, for example?
