This month’s article and podcast episode were all about “drugs,” specifically psychedelics, and how they might impact the fitness of our minds in both positive and negative ways. How to Change Your Mind by Michael Pollan is the most comprehensive and insightful work I’ve found about these substances. He approaches the subject from a historical and educational perspective and details his experimentation with many of these compounds. If you read one book about psychedelics, make it this one.
